Drupal setup problem

I am new to Drupal 6.11. I could successfully installed it. Problem is after that if I click on any link it takes me to document root and do file listing instead showing relevant content. I tried n number of time unsuccessfully. I chose Drupal over Joomla due to good feedback from friends, but now feel insatllation painful.

I am doing configuration with postgresql and that configuration was smooth. I received the mail too. When I click on link in mail that also goto document root and do file listing.

I understand your problem as drupal has been rated much higher than joomla now a days also drupal is quite flexible and easy open source cms application. I would suggest to contact some open source developers as your problem could not be solved over the forum. I know some of the companies like Sakshay, OSSCube and EOT Infotech, out of them I think OSSCube is best as they are group of trained professionals. you may want to look at their website.
