How to chnage URL throgh URL Rewritting in Drupal

Hi ,

We want to chnage urls form http://www.baghel.in/node/9 to http://www.baghel.in/categoryname/topicname.html

How to it possible ? Please help me .Thanks in advance.

Pathauto module is the answer

Why dont you use pathauto module? That will help you to rename the URL.

with the help of path ,

with the help of path , pathauto and token modules we shall get the Search Engine Friendly URL's , also the urls can also be changed manually whenever we create a page or story or any other content

Global Redirect module can also be used to change the url's
