Drupal.in Drupal India User Group

i dont know much about drupal, but i want to use it for my upcoming portal.

I have domain and webspace with one click drupal installation facility.

During learning phase i want to use only Lorem Ipsum content. I don't want search engines to list my site or content until i desire so.

Alongwith, i dont want to make my site public initially (access strictly allowed to members only).

how can i ensure my site wont be listed until i desire and remain praivate?

Are there other ways to master drupal without actually running a dummy site.

And if my lorem ipsum content somehow gets listed in search engines, after replacing lorum ipsum with genuine content will there be any problem regarding sr=earch results, ranking etc.?
